"Beware — potential unauthorized policy issue. I had a very concerning experience with this State Farm agency. I requested an insurance quote only, but later discovered that an insurance policy had apparently been created under my name for my property. I did not sign an application or authorize a policy to be issued. This raises serious concerns for me regarding authorization, documentation, and handling of my personal information. I have requested copies of all application records, signatures/e-signature records, payment authorization records, and agent notes so I can understand how this happened. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this agency. A quote request should not result in a policy being issued unless the customer clearly signs and authorizes it. I expect full transparency, a written explanation, and prompt correction of the record."
